Bard choosing the Marching skill can beat the drum so ferociously that under his command and leadership even the so far untrained armies gain new levels and become upgraded! To upgrade the army using the Marching skill you must have built, in any of your cities, the upgraded dwelling of this creature. Then you can click on the army in your hero screen and look for the upgrade arrows.
When choosing the Chant of Battle, the Hero learns to play a battle song, which increases the courage of his troops before the battle.
Random number of stacks get attack and defense bonuses in the upcoming battle.
Having this advanced skill, Hero learns to wield his war machines in a deadly way!
Such Hero can now have MORE war machines of the same kind in his army and therefore deal multiple damage!
You can also trade the war machines among the friendly heroes. Exact number of your war machines can be seen by the right click on the artefact.
Hero with Ambush advanced skill can choose to surprise the enemy and set the ambush trap leaving the enemy completly surrounded on the battle field (similar way like in the dwarven treasury)
During his many fights in the arena, your Hero learns how to see the vital spots on the enemy bodies and how to lead a blow to strike those vital points.
Now every stack under the command of such hero has a 5% chance to make a critical hit strike, which kills the entire stack at once!
The fights you'd won in the Arena had increased your agility and dexterity in such a way that you now can wield *TWO* swords at the same time, one in your right hand and one in your shield (left) hand!
Hero choosing this skill learns to tend the creatures in his army in such a skillful way that under his command they increase their numbers every week by 10%!
Vitality increases the hit points of all units under Hero's command in the battle by 20%.
Academics advanced skill gives you a chance to learn your fellow heroes all the secondary skills that you know.
To start the Academics teaching process, you must meet the hero, who you want to teach.
Hero with Spying advanced skill starts to build his own intelligence service, which can give him detailed information on all enemy heroes!
Your intelligence can give you reports on hero's advanced skills, hero's servant status, hero's secondary skills, creatures and artefacts equipped.
Strategy advanced skill is a highly sofisticated battle skill, which gives commanders a new ability to increase the attack and defense of all units which are close (diameter of 3 hexes) to their battle standard!
Increase points are calculated from the commander's own ATT / DEF. (As a bonus, Strategy also negates Tactics secondary skill!)
Your royal clothing and noble behaviour persuades the creatures to come to your services more willingly and for less charge than usual.
Price of the hired creatures in the towns and dwellings on the map is 20% less when Hero has a Nobility advanced skill.
As a rightful king you should have a young sire to tend your needs and help you on your travels with the mundane things.
Squire also helps his Master in the battle, adding his primary skill points (without artefact bonuses!) to the points of his Master. Squire hero must be on level 5 maximum, if he gains more levels, he thinks himself to be too experienced to be just a squire and leaves his Master.
Your mastery of the war strategy and leadership of an army are on such a level now that you can easily command more battalions during the battle effectively.
Command advanced skill gives you opportunity to add additional regiment to your army, having now up to *8* such regiments (i.e. stacks) under your direct command!
MAGIC HEROES SKILLS
Hero having Adventure Spells advanced skill is now able to cast all the basic Adventure Spells, which are offered in his spell book.
To access the Adventure Spells spell book right-click on the spell book icon on the Adventure screen.
Hero having Telekinesis advanced skill is now able to collect resources from afar and visit most of the buildings in his thoughts, leaving the body on the same place.
To perform the Telekinesis action, right-click on the desired object.
Hero having Magic Merchant advanced skill is now able to trade mithril for ordinary resources and also trade spell points for resources. You'll never run short of mithril or spell points anymore!
To trade in mithril Magic Merchant Hero must be in town and click on to the marketplace. (Merchant is only interested only in 1 trade a week!)
Hero having Word of Command advanced skill will sing the incantantions before the start of every battle and the power of his voice will be such that it temporalily downgrades part of the enemy army! (1 - 2 stacks depending on pure chance)
Life magic will allow you to cast the Life spells (right click on Adventure spells button) and give you a chance together with Expert Water Magic to summon an ENT.
Life Magic can be improved in 3 levels, increasing the power of the Ent. To start the ENT summoning, click on the hero picture in the hero screen.
Ents can support heroes in their battles by casting their special spells (number of spell cast in 1 battle depends on the level of Ent).
They also summon Huorns on the battlefield (50, 75 or 100 Huorns depending on the level of the Ent) at the end of round 1, 3 and 5.
Ents are now also visible on the battlefield!
Ent spells available:
Alchemy advanced skill gives your Hero a chance to invent the spells he likes most in the towns mageguilds.
Alchemy also learns your Hero to better use of the collected resources increasing thus their total value by 2. To start the spell inventing process click on the mageguild when hero with alchemy is visiting.
Death magic will allow you to cast the Death spells (right click on Adventure spells button) and give you a chance together with Expert Fire Magic to summon a BALROG.
Death Magic can be improved in 3 levels, increasing the power of the Balrog. To start the BALROG summoning ritual, click on the hero picture in the hero screen.
Balrogs can support heroes in their battles by casting their special spells (number of spell cast in 1 battle depends on the level of Balrog).
At the very beginning of the battle they also cast a spell (type of spell depends on the level of the Balrog - B- 2x Fireball, G- 2x Inferno, Z- Armageddon with your units immune! Power of the spell depends on Hero SP)
Balrogs are now also visible on the battlefield!

When choosing the Magic Pouch, your Adept gains the Magic Pouch to his inventory.
Inside the Magic Pouch you can put up to THREE different artefacts and maintain their primary skills bonuses the same way as if they were equipped! (all other artefact bonuses will be lost!)
Mage having the Combat spells speciality can cast spells affecting the tides of battle even before the battle begins! You can choose from 4 beneficial spells and 4 damaging spells.
To cast those spells you must have them written in your spell book.
Long years of the studies of the magic arcanes will allow you to cast * 2 * spells in the battle every round!
